Last Updated: October 2025
Welcome to ERSC Training & Tactics (Pty) Ltd (“ERSC”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By enrolling in our training courses or purchasing any of our products, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any purchase or registration.
1. Company Details
ERSC Training & Tactics (Pty) Ltd
Registered Training Centre accredited with:
- ITA (International Training Academy)
- PFTC (Professional Firearms Trainers Council)
- SAPS (South African Police Service)
2. General Terms
- All prices, course fees, and product prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- By completing a purchase or registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
- ERSC reserves the right to refuse service or cancel enrolment where necessary, in accordance with South African law.
3. Training Courses and Services
3.1 Course Registration and Enrolment
Once you register for a course and payment has been received, you will be issued with a training manual bearing a unique Serial / Code / Version (S/C/V) number.
This manual is allocated exclusively to you and cannot be transferred, duplicated, or reused once issued.
3.2 Cancellation and Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our training and accreditation system:
- No refunds, cancellations, or transfers will be accepted once course material has been issued.
- Each manual is a controlled item; once assigned, it must be recorded with the authorities as “issued” and cannot be reallocated.
- Under exceptional circumstances, ERSC may consider a partial refund at our sole discretion, less:
- The cost of the issued manual, and
- A reasonable administrative fee.
3.4 Course Attendance
- Attendance at all scheduled training sessions is compulsory.
- Failure to attend, arrive on time, or complete assessments may result in forfeiture of your enrolment without refund.
- Course rescheduling requests will only be considered under exceptional circumstances and are subject to availability.
3.5 Assessment Integrity
All examinations, assessment papers, and in-book tests are protected under copyright and accreditation regulations.
In accordance with SAQA, ITA, and PFTC requirements, exam content may not be copied, photographed, or distributed in any form.
Students are entitled to in-person feedback and review sessions where their results and performance may be discussed in detail. This ensures transparency while maintaining compliance with assessment integrity standards.
3.6 Rewrite and Administration Fees
- If a student fails an in-book test, a fee of R200 per test applies for the re-issue of new in-book tests.
- If a student fails a closed-book exam, the first re-write will be offered at no charge as a goodwill gesture.
- Any subsequent re-writes of the closed-book exam will incur a R200 fee per exam.
- All rewrite or administrative fees must be settled prior to scheduling or attempting any re-assessment.
3.7 Service Completion
Attendance, participation, and access to course materials — including the issue of serialized study manuals — constitute full or partial service delivery.
The Training Centre’s obligations are deemed fulfilled upon the provision of:
- The course materials,
- The scheduled training, and
- The facilitation of the accredited assessment process.
3.8 Failure to Pass
An unsuccessful assessment outcome does not constitute incomplete or defective service.
The Training Centre provides accredited instruction, assessment, and feedback opportunities, but the responsibility for achieving competency rests with the student.
Refunds are not applicable for failed assessments. Continued support remains available through rewrite opportunities, remedial guidance, and one-on-one review sessions.

Participation in firearms training and use of firearms are inherently risky activities undertaken at your own risk.
